Why do I need to optimise my website for mobile phones?
Recently, more and more people have been purchasing smartphones that allow them to gain access to the internet wherever and whenever they want. When viewing the web through these devices, websites made for desktop PCs tend to show up in a small and unreadable format, with certain functions of the site not working.
As many of these smartphones are touchscreen, the current layout of your website might not be optimised for this – for example drop down menus don't tend to work with touchscreens, so if this is the only method of navigation around your website users won't be able to access the majority of the information.
Tablet Web Design
We can also tailor your website to be optimised for tablets. Similarly to above, the use of touchscreen tablets such as the iPad has risen greatly in the past few years and due to this you may also want to optimise your website for these tablets.
